Just when you thought the whole “fan area” thing at gigs in the UAE couldn’t be any more of a swizz, there’s this…
Not content with charging Dhs695 – and extra Dhs370 on a regular ticket – to get into the “fan area” nearer the front of the stage, the organisers have now devised another level. For Dhs995 they’ll let you into the arena 45 minutes before the other fan area ticket holders so you can get a spot at the front.
Organisers refer to this as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime opportunity’.
A few days before Coldplay are playing a gig in Germany and tickets are Dhs221
